Weddings: Bel & Rhys .. the photos were beautiful .. Hope it was the best day.
Births: Baby Max (The Macdougles .. damm can never spell your last name right!!) and Baby Emily (The Cochranes). Congrats to your new bundles of joy.
Deaths: A RIP to Steve “Crocodile Hunter” Irwin. Steve, whom I never had the fortune to meet, seemed to be an amazing person, Australian, entertainer, father, husband and friend. He did alot for Australia’s profile, particularly in the USA. I was privvy to this when I worked at Disneyland on the world famous jungle cruise and people would always ask me to do the “Steve Irwin Accent”… all I could really manage were a few crikeys but it made an easy talking point and me a favourite with our guests – so thanks Steve for giving me an instant repoire with those people and no doubt helping my experience at Disney to be one of the most exciting and enjoyable of my life. You will be missed mate!
